8mystery8 was my first solo exhibition at Blakdot Gallery, in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia, in November 2026.
This exhibition reflects on the idea that the spirit of nature lives within every plant and fruit that shapes our everyday lives. The works place special focus on native Chilean species—such as maqui, puya, and wetland flowers—bringing my practice closer to people through a simple yet profound question: can we truly see and understand what we are consuming when we eat, or when we contemplate nature?
The exhibition also stands as a migrant manifesto of reuse and transformation. By working with discarded wood and restoring its value through artistic intervention and resin finishes, the pieces speak of displacement, care, and the possibility of renewal—both for materials and for the stories they carry.
I hope you enjoy seeing the photos!
